We are delighted to be joined by Julien Tornare, CEO of Zenith to discuss this year’s new releases at Watches and Wonders. Julien Tornare shares what’s new from Zenith, his favourite pieces and gives us an insight into what we can expect from the brand in the upcoming year.

How would you describe the brand in three words?

Heritage. Authenticity. Innovation.

What is your favourite new release and why?

Definitely the new Pilot Chronograph, which combines amazing techniques and technologies, great design and a level of finishing that we’ve never achieved before at Zenith in the Pilot collection.

What can you tell us about the new releases

2023 Watches and Wonders is a very important time for Zenith. We are bringing a few additions to the Defy collection as well as the Chronomaster, but the main topic is the comeback of the Pilot collection. Which is very important to us and has been for over a century.

What can we expect to see from the brand in the upcoming year?

What we’ve learnt from the past couple of years is that it’s not only about the watches that are realised initially but what is released throughout the entire year. You can expect a lot of new releases, collections, ambassadors and new surprises that will take us to the end of the year.

What timepiece are you wearing right now?

I am wearing the new Pilot Chronograph in ceramic. It’s not only an incredible watch but its very comfortable – probably the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn!
